1.Device Assessment & Repairs
- We will conduct a thorough assessment of your device upon arrival at our workshop.
- If additional testing is required to diagnose the issue, we will inform you before proceeding.
- Repair times vary based on the complexity of the issue and the availability of required parts.
- Some issues may not be immediately visible during initial assessments, and additional repairs may be needed. In such cases, we will contact you to discuss further steps.
2. Data Responsibility & Privacy
- Please ensure that all important files are backed up before bringing in your device, as we cannot be held responsible for data loss.
- In rare cases, software updates or resets may be necessary, which could result in data being erased. We will inform you if this step is required.
3. Warranty Coverage
- All repairs for laptops, desktops, MacBooks, Gaming Consoles, Vacuums, Hifi Systems, Mobile Phones and iPads are covered by a 90-day warranty, starting from the date the repair is completed.
- For phone repairs, a warranty is only provided if we order the original screen part and replace it. If we order an aftermarket screen for a phone, there is no warranty. It is the customer’s choice which screen they prefer.
- This warranty applies only to the specific repairs and parts replaced. It does not cover general wear and tear, accidental damage, or unrelated issues.
- If the repaired part is physically damaged after collection, the warranty will no longer be valid.
- Issues caused by liquid damage, power surges, or previous repair attempts from unauthorized technicians are not covered under warranty.
4. Repair Costs & Payment Policy
- A price estimate will be provided before any repair work begins.
- If you choose not to proceed with the repair after our assessment, there is no obligation.
- Full payment is required upon collection of your repaired device.
- If a repair is completed but remains unpaid, Mathan Electronics reserves the right to sell the device to recover associated costs.
5. Collection Policy
- Please collect your device within 30 days of the repair being completed.
- If a device is left unclaimed for over 30 days, we may sell or recycle it to cover storage and repair costs.
- If a customer declines a quote or if the device is deemed unrepairable, the unit must be collected within 14 days. Due to limited storage space, we reserve the right to dispose of any such uncollected devices after this period.
- Mathan Electronics is not responsible for any damage or loss of devices left uncollected beyond the specified time frame.
6. Respectful & Fair Treatment
- We are committed to treating all customers and staff with respect.
- Any form of harassment, discrimination, or inappropriate behavior will not be tolerated.
- We reserve the right to refuse service to individuals who mistreat our staff or other customers.
7. Liability Disclaimer
- While we take every precaution in our repair work, Mathan Electronics is not responsible for indirect consequences such as data loss, software issues, or disruptions caused by the repair.
- We cannot guarantee successful repairs on devices that have been previously serviced by unauthorized technicians or have severe, irreversible damage.
- Some repairs, especially those involving motherboard issues or liquid damage, may have unpredictable outcomes. While we will do our best, there is always a risk that the device may not function as expected after repair.
8. Updates to Our Terms
- These terms and conditions may be updated periodically without prior notice.
- We encourage customers to review our policies from time to time to stay informed of any changes.
